Remember the Quilt & Fibre Arts Festival? With permission, we have recreated it as: WEFT Fest (the Woolwich Expressions in Fibre Traditions Festival). Join us from March 24, 2023 to April 2, 2023 across the region and in St Jacobs Village for a fun calendar of workshops, trunk show, fashion show and sale, and our Juried Fibre Art Show & Auction. Bookmark this page to stay current with our schedule, and follow us on Facebook & Instagram for real-time updates.

At this stage, we are looking for artists for various events and teacup donations (see below).

Get Involved

Quilt Displays

Show off your quilting expertise at one of our festival locations. Quilts will be on display for the duration of the festival. To submit, upload images of the entire quilt and a detail shot with description of the quilt and creators to a Google Drive folder or Dropbox. Please label it “Quilt Submission – Your Name” and share with info@threesisterscentre.ca

Trunk Show Vendor

Be a vendor in our trunk show for one or both weekends (Mar 24 – 26, Mar 31 – Apr 2).

One Weekend ($250); Both Weekends ($500); Early Bird pricing ends January 31st.

Juried Fibre Art Show & Auction

Submit your work to the WEFT Fibre Art Show & Auction, which will open on March 24, 2023 and close on April 2, 2023. All fibre mediums will be considered and will support both artists and Three Sisters Cultural Centre.

Wearable Art Fashion Show

Be a part of the Wearable Art Fashion Show on March 24th. Artists will be given booths for the sale of their work after the show concludes.

Lead a Workshop

Lead one of our eight workshops. We ask that workshops cater to a type of fiber art (knitting, weaving, felting, etc.). Dates will be flexible throughout the week of WEFT.

Donate a Teacup

We are always accepting donations for the Tea House being held daily at Three Sisters Cultural Centre. Feel free to drop off your tea cups at 1370 King Street North during our open hours.
